Come and See (2005)

"Come and See" was conceived over the 8 years I led Saturday night services at Grace Baptist (S. Clarita). The songs come from a longing to know and love Jesus more, and I hope they will encourage you in the same direction. Besides new versions of "To Be Like You" & "Take Forgiveness," all songs are new. "Make Me Holy" was actually begun years ago with Joel Weldon and finally completed for this CD!

Real Live Worship (1997)
Say it Again ° King Jesus ° I Can Tell You Everything ° I Believe
Lay Your Hands on Me, God ° Only You ° Forever Faithful
He's Gonna Reign Forever ° Day By Day ° You Lift Me Up Again
Side By Side ° I Don't Wanna Be Bound ° The Nails ° Take Forgiveness

"Real Live Worship" was recorded at Hume Lake during 1996 Summer Camps. Once again, Chris Goodale was enlisted to record many weeks of high-energy worship, this time to an 8-track ADAT recorder. The resulting experience is electric! Worship Leader Magazine called the CD "Rrefreshing, authentic and delighfully cool" - I think it's fun to listen to because the worship is enthusiastic, heartfelt and...real!

Cross the Line (1996)
You Lift Me Up Again ° Say It Again
Cross the Line ° Love or Nothing ° Save It
The Chance to See ° Lay My Burdens Down

"Cross the Line" was recorded in the Spring of '96, just before my second Summer leading worship at Hume. This was the first project recorded and mixed entirely at my home studio in Santa Clarita. I had lots of fun writing, recording and mixing the songs, including the title track for Hume's theme. My brother David, Mike Hilts & Deirdre Close also made wonderful contributions to this album. Though the CD has an admitedly "eighties" feel, I think the songs have held up pretty well!

Don't Forget (1995)
Lay Your Hands on Me, God ° I Believe ° Just Like You Said
Little Man ° I'll Take the Risk ° My God is a Fortress ° I Can
Tell You Everything ° Last Flight Out ° Don't Forget ° That's Great

My family and I lived up at Hume from the winter of '94 through the end of Summer, '95. Life is much quieter during winters at Hume, and it proved a wonderful place to record "Don't Forget," engineered by the talented Chris Goodale. Tim, Kris, Greg & Mike all made fantastic contributions to the album, which contains several songs that are very special to me, including "Little Man," "Just Like You Said," and "I'll Take the Risk," (Hume's theme) which convicts me to this day!

Hume Lake Live (1994)
Alpha & Omega ° He's Gonna Reign ° Day by Day ° Every Minute
The Nails ° For I Am Convinced ° King Jesus ° Where I Stand
Side by Side ° Only You ° Create in Me ° Awesome God

(OUT OF PRINT)
"Hume Lake Live" was recorded during Hume Winter Camps, 1993 & '94. Our band often felt studio worship albums lacked the excitement and immediacy of live worship, so friend Chris Goodale expertly recorded many weekends of high-energy camper worship! The album appealed to many, selling thousands of copies. Band members Tim & Kris Jones, Mike Hilts and Greg Calvillo made fantastic contributions to this project, which stands as a chronicle of the passionate worship at "the Lake".

Sight Unseen (1994)
How Bad Do You Want It? ° Pray in the USA
Easier Said Than Done ° Love Keeps No Record of Wrongs
Side by Side ° The Chance to See ° Stand Up ° Dust it Off
Sight Unseen ° Lift Up His Name ° Danelle ° You Were There

(OUT OF PRINT)
My second album was co-produced by Cedric Lee and recorded at Haven of Rest studios. I might have clung to the tail-end of the hard rock era, but nonetheless, "Sight Unseen" contains some pretty fun songs, like "Dust it Off," "Pray in the USA," "Stand Up" and "How Bad Do You Want It?" The album also sports the best song I've ever written, "Danelle" and "Easier Said Than Done," my first and last rap song!

One Step Out (1992)
I Wonder ° That's Great ° Moment of Jazz ° Too Grown Up for God
One Step Out ° Diamond in Disguise ° Graveclothes
Down on My Knees ° For Awhile ° When I'm Near You ° Come By here

(OUT OF PRINT)
I wrote the songs for "One Step Out" while leading music at newly-formed CrossWinds Church (Pleasanton, CA) and singing for many conferences at Hume Lake. They tell very personal stories, borne out of much spiritual growth during that period of my life. Countless hours went into the making of this CD, which contains some of my personal favorites. The album, mixed by Mark Heard, also features many friends and guest musicians, including Joel Weldon and Mike Roe of the 77s!
